Seymour (* 1840, ✝ 1929), dem britischen Oberbefehlshaber des europäischen Expeditionskorps, mit dem er 1900 in Peking (während des Boxeraufstands, Boxer) einen Entlastungsangriff des deutschen Kontingents befahl; wurde im wilhelminischen Deutschland zum geflügelten Wort.
